CSE 307: Some CMD commands that use in Networking


Here are some of the CMD commands that are used in the Computer Networking.

Sl. No Command Description
1 IPCONFIG Configure IP
2 GETMAC Display the Media Access Control (MAC) address
3 PING Test a network connection
4 TRACERT Trace route to a remote host
5 ARP Address Resolution Protocol
6 NETSTAT Display networking statistics (TCP/IP)
7 FTP File Transfer Protocol
8 CLS Clear the screen
9 DISKPART Disk Administration
10 EXIT Quit the current script/routine and set an error level
