Human Brain and Relationship

Let us know who we are. Ask yourself, “Who am I? What am I thinking?” You won’t get your answer just at this moment. Take your time and think for an answer.

We feel very easy to speak about others but we feel very difficult to speak about ourselves. It is better to know ourselves first before we speak to others. Not knowing ourselves creates misunderstanding. Misunderstanding creates misery, sad and leads to no solution or bad solution. All is about our brain.

All activities depend on our brain. If one says according to you, you will be fine, good and one who do not do according to you, you won’t be fine. When two persons are placed in the same environment, the knowledge that they receive will be different because their brains are different, their thinking is different. Everybody has its own objective.

When a man asked Swami Vivekananda, “what is the reason for misunderstanding?” Swami Vivekananda replied, “The reason is: we see people as we are. Not as they are!

The greatest mistake we humans make in our relationships; we listen half, understand quarter, think zero, and react double.

Our Brain has two hemispheres – left brain and right brain. Left brain controls the right part of our body and right brain controls the left part of our body. Every time there is the communication between the halves of the brain via corpus callosum. There are lots of people who are dominated by left brain and lots of people who are dominated by right brain. But there are less number of people who has balanced between the two halves of our brain.

Left brain is responsible for numbers, money, facts and figures, neat, planned, time conscious, etc. They always work according to the plan. They have restrictions. For such kind of people, they always have this in their minds that if this occurs…., what will happen….? Because of this, they cannot enjoy their life fully. They are bound inside a fix boundary. If somebody tries to lose them or they do not have any words to say, then that person will work, search the relevant data to defeat the other guy who makes him a loser.

On the other hand Right brain is responsible for non-verbal, reading emotions, expressing emotions, imaginative, non-linear, emotional, music/art/poetry/touching, uplifting, creative, etc. Those people who are dominated by right brain are creative and very emotional. They can understand people easily and they enjoy their life fully. They do not have any tension for anything. They do not have rules. We can see the happiness on their faces. They are friendly and they know how to work with other people.

To lead a better life and be a successful person, we need to develop our brain to be balanced between the two halves of the brain. We need energy, strength to do and “I” is the only person who is going to do this. We should teach our brain to think in both ways. Besides we cannot live alone, we have to live together so we need to understand people, we need to listen to them, and we cannot stay in our own objectives always. We should be flexible. We are happy when others response according to us. A single word can break a relationship and a single word can bind a relationship tightly. We have to think before we do. If you have done something wrong, be brave to say SORRY for your mistake. This will make your relationship better.

  • The Wrong Person in the Wrong Place = Regression
  • The Wrong Person in the Right Place = Frustration
  • The Right Person in the Wrong Place = Confusion
  • The Right Person in the Right Place = Progression
  • The Right People in the Right Places = Multiplication

So now, it’s your turn to change yourself to a better one.

Kaziranga National Park

kaziranga-national-park2Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India. The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site. According to the census held in March 2015, which was jointly conducted by the Forest Department of the Government of Assam and some recognized wildlife NGOs, the rhino population in Kaziranga National Park is 2,401. It comprises 1,651 adult rhinos (663 male, 802 are females, 186 unsexed); 294 sub-adults (90 males, 114 females, 90 unsexed); 251 juveniles and 205 cubs.
Kaziranga is home to the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world, and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer.
Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International for conservation of avifaunal species. When compared with other protected areas in India, Kaziranga has achieved notable success in wildlife conservation. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility.

Although the etymology of the name Kaziranga is not certain, there exist a number of possible explanations derived from local legends and records. According to one legend, a girl named Ranga, from a nearby village, and a youth named Kazi, from Karbi Anglong, fell in love. This match was not acceptable to their families, and the couple disappeared into the forest, never to be seen again, and the forest was named after them.[citation needed] According to another legend, Srimanta Sankardeva, the sixteenth century Vaisnava saint-scholar, once blessed a childless couple, Kazi and Rangai, and asked them to dig a big pond in the region so that their name would live on.

Testimony to the long history of the name can be found in some records, which state that once, while the Ahom king Pratap Singha was passing by the region during the seventeenth century, he was particularly impressed by the taste of fish, and on asking was told it came from Kaziranga.
Kaziranga also could mean the “Land of red goats (Deer)”, as the word Kazi in the Karbi language means “goat”, and Rangai means “red”.

Some historians believe, however, that the name Kaziranga was derived from the Karbi word Kajir-a-rong, which means “the village of Kajir” (kajiror gaon). Among the Karbis, Kajir is a common name for a girl child,[citation needed] and it was believed that a woman named Kajir once ruled over the area. Fragments of monoliths associated with Karbi rule found scattered in the area seem to bear testimony to this assertion.
